Digital Desh Drive 9.0 Launch

Welcome to the 9th edition of the Digital Desh Drive-by NowFloats.

Uncovering ‘Inside the Internet of Bharat’ has been our passion for over 6 years and we remain committed to it, more so in such unpredictable times. We have been one of the first (since 2015) to understand the rapidly changing behaviors around digital technology in small businesses and consumers across Bharat. We continue to keep our research and insights deep, valuable and usable, even during the global health crisis we all find ourselves in. After launching our 8th report on DIGITAL OXYGEN LEVELS OF BHARAT’S MSMEs (available at DigitalDesh.in) during COVID19 Wave I, we felt the need to dig deeper in the aftermath of the more devastating COVID19 WAVE II. So here’s our 9th report on digital evolution in small businesses post the WAVE II. We are extremely fortunate and grateful to have two very young and bright interns from Ashoka University to help us do this.

This report contains narratives and numbers collected after interacting with over 30 small business owners from Hyderabad, New Delhi, Pune, Nagpur, and more. We reached out to these businesses with the intention of understanding their digitization levels and plans. These individuals are the backbone of Bharat and we share the journeys and lives of these individuals, the circumstances they are in, their wants, and most importantly, their needs. Some of the insights were surprising and certainly different from what we usually feel.

On November 18, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, we are hosting a digital event to bring out the insights to you and launch the 9th Digital Desh Report. We will also be hosting a discussion on Small Businesses in India post COVID19.
